The Moomins are the central characters in a series of books and a comic strip by Finnish writer Tove Jansson. They are a family of Scandinavian trolls who are white and round in appearance, with large snouts that make them resemble hippopotamuses or capybara. The carefree and adventurous family live in their house in Moomin Valley with their many friends.
The new Moomin tumblers set consists of two glasses ‘The Golden Tail’ and ‘Moomin and the Martians’. The tumbler is the small Iittala Kartio glass by Kaj Franck with the Moomins on. Kartio is one of the finest examples of Kaj Franck's design and has received numerous Finnish and international awards and prizes.
