Design House Stockholm Block Lamp with Black Cord
Block Lamp, designed by Finnish designer Harri Koskinen in 1996, is one of the best-known and most loved Scandinavian design objects. It has won numerous design awards and since 2000 has been part of the collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Each part is hand cast and undergoes a long cooling process to prevent cracking. The matt bulb shape is sand blasted. The textile cord is black but also available in white and red.
