The decorative Aalto bowl is based on the design of the world-famous Aalto vase that Alvar Aalto created in 1937 for Iittala. The Aalto vase has become one of the world’s most famous glass objects, deservedly synonymous with Finnish glass art and with Iittala. The fluid shapes are said to derive from the Finnish landscape and its lakes.
The bowls are hand-blown using traditional techniques, and may therefore contain tiny bubbles. Available in three colours. Hand wash only.
