The Kivi tealight candle holder was designed in 1988 by Heikki Orvola for the Finnish design manufacturer Iittala. Many companies have tried to copy the timeless simplicity and elegance of this extremely popular chunky glassware. Kivi’s spectrum of colours and tactile forms enriches the glow of the candle as it multiplies the flickering flame.
Kivi candle holders are divided into three different price categories, based on the difficulty of manufacturing certain colours. Sweet pink and red are handmade using special pigments and techniques. Tealight not included. Hand wash only.
