Toldbod pendant creates soft, uniform lighting. The major part of the light is directed downward. The quality of the three-layer glass gives the Toldbod pendant an evenly lit surface.

Story behind the product
The Toldbod fixtures are designed according to the PH ellipse reflector. This was the last attempt on street lighting that Poul Henningsen designed before his death. In his time this fixture never amounted to more than a trial for the municipalities in a suburban area north of Copenhagen. The original ellipse reflector was designed for a 100W incandescent light source. The fixtures have changed a lot since Poul Henningsen’s first attempt; the materials and surface treatments have been radically developed. The design expression is very modest and easy to fit into any architectural environment.
